Episode 68: Part 1 Enneagram, The Symbol of All And Everything with Matthew Krepps

A fixated thing is not free. A fixated thing is only reactive. A fixated thing has only a small set of perceptual avenues that it looks into. A fixated thing doesn't have the same possibilities of movement, freedom and adaptability. A fixated thing implies a kind of stuckness. This is the easiest way to understand it.”

-Matthew Krepps, The Everything Belongs Podcast

Today, in Part 1 of this Everything Belongs Podcast episode, Madison is in conversation with Matthew Krepps. Matthew is Co-founder of Circle Yoga Shala, is a C-IAYT, E-500RYT, Ayurvedic Chef and Movement Expert. Circle Yoga Shala is a Wisdom School for Yoga, Creative Movement, and Self-Inquiry located in Arkansas' Ozark Mountains. Matt has been a practitioner of Yoga and Ayurveda, Yoga's sister science, for close to three decades. He owned and operated a premier yoga studio for ten years before founding Circle Yoga Shala in 2009. Matt developed the CYS yoga teacher training programs (200hr and 500hr) and an internationally accredited 1,000-hour Yoga Therapy program, all of which surpass marketplace standards. Matt began studying the wisdom of the Enneagram 16 years ago, from fixation and beyond. He leads Self-Observation groups and Work Circles, where the Enneagram is utilized to discover what gets in the way of an integrated, fulfilling life. In this episode, Madison and Matthew speak on Enneagram identification as a spiritual, integrative and long term process and why your "type" is not, in fact, your True Essence.

This conversation is a deep dive into the full intent and wisdom of the Enneagram, like you may never have heard about it before. Listen in here, head over to listen to part 2, then join the waitlist for Matt and Holly’s Enneagram Course here: https://www.circleyogashala.com/enneagram-course.
